#journeytothecentreofthetable in the coral reef
Here our inspiration came from the tropical seabeds, where the sea stops being just water and the seabed becomes an ever-changing work of contemporary art. Where colourful fish mix with corals, brushing past rocks and crossing dense, vibrant algae, creating a truly abstract back drop which reflects nature’s beauty. This back drop inspired the Marea set which was created to reflect the freedom and delicate nature of the coral reef, with spontaneous waves of unique adornments on every plate.
Porcelain and stoneware: the perfect mix of functionality and refinement.
Elegance and lightness characterise the flat and fruit plates, made of fine white porcelain on which the decal is applied.
The enamelled stoneware of the six soup plates, on the other hand, brings functionality to the table: thick and durable, it retains the heat of hot dishes such as soups and stews and facilitates serving. The enamelled surface enhances the colours of the table.
