Certifications
Villa D'Este Home Tivoli is all about compliance with regulations and care for the environment. All our products comply with EU directives on food contact eligibility, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, etc... All certifications are released by Institutes with national, international and European authorisation: SGS, INTERTEK, TUV, CPM, Istituto Ricerche Prove Analisi, Firenze Tecnologica, Bureau Veritas and Dekra.
CE Marking: since 1993, the CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.
FOOD Marking: the food marking, referring to the CE Regulation n. 1935/2004 and 31/2005, certifies that the product is suitable for food contact.
RoHs Marking: the RoHs marking, responding to the CE Regulation n. 2002/95, shows product's conformity and restricts (with exceptions) the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical appliances: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated biphenyls, and Polybrominated diphenyl ether.
RAEE Marking: the RAEE marking indicates proper disposal of electronic waste, as electrical or electronic devices, using the best available techniques, through authorized recycling centres responding to "RAEE Decree". The disposal activities have different stages: securing or remediation, removal of hazardous components, disassembly of little parts, preliminary separation of materials and mechanical processing for material's recovery.
ecoR'it marking: this mark indicates the belonging to the ecoR'it consortium that manages the waste's recovery of electrical and electronic equipment RAEE throughout the country.
