We were inspired by the queen of France Marie Antoinette, the perfect woman who was also rebellious and loved the excess around her as much as the freedom which she was denied by her role. We were curious about the beautiful and romantic damasks which surrounded her, the abundance on the table and the details, the use of regal accessories rich in colour. Plates and glasses of the Imperial line by Villa d'Este Home seem to belong to the queen’s court, with their seventeenth-century style, lightened by sweet and light pastel tones.
