Loves me, Loves me not

#journeytothecentreofthetable in the popular tradition of the Victorian age

"Loves me, loves me not?" This question, which some seek to resolve by picking one petal off a flower after repeating each phrase, has very ancient origins. In fact, it is said that during Queen Victoria's reign, a maid named Margherita having had her heart broken decided to seek answers from the daisy flower (margherita in Italian) as she sought a worthy admirer. Our Margarita set is an expression of the everyday table set for romance, in accordance with the rustic and modern aspects of a ritual which is still practiced nowadays.
